The challenge
The compression train required gas cooling across a wide flow range, with seawater cooling and a stringent weight limit for the module. Material traceability and NACE compliance were mandatory.
Project route
Approach
- Thermal and hydraulic review across the compressor map.
- Titanium seawater circuit and stainless gas path.
- Pressure gas cooler modules integrated into the compressor package.
- NACE MR0175 material review and EN 10204 3.1 documentation.
- Factory acceptance test witnessed by the EPC contractor.
Result
- Cooling performance verified across the operating envelope.
- Module weight kept within the lift plan.
- Material and test records accepted at handover.
